Two boat trips today as we headed out to our southern reefs, which averaged 45 to 60 feet in depth. Both trips we dove Breaker’s Reef and on both trips came across a very big and inquisitive Green Moray Eel. Also on both trips we were greeted by a hawksbill snacking on sponges and not paying us any mind. Can’t forget the Goliath Grouper! As we drifted along…

Floating in our liquid sunshine, we have  winter scuba diving in South Florida! If there is a little chill you’re covered, with a little neoprene and a jacket. Even though turtle nesting season is over, we still have our fair share of resident turtles. Dolphins, yep we have them! Our reefs are always full of tropical fish.   What’s in season?…

Started off the day with good news from Mother Nature . . . 1-2 foot seas, light breeze, a bit of sunshine, 76 degree water and a mild current.  Who could ask for better conditions?!  Oooo Yea with 60-70 foot of visibility.   Well happy happy Friday and just in time for the holidays . . . Who says that summer time is the only time to find beauty on our reefs?!  Beauty comes year round here in South Florida.
